    A tasty sika

Afternoon everyone. Here is the video to a hunt earlier this week where I nail my first deer for 2020. Hope you enjoy 👍

It looked to be a solid hit. I was surprised to see it run uphill like that.

good stuff, yip I have to agree with Rumpy on this one....it can be plurry hard yakka in scrubby crap to find where they were let alone where they are now....and I know eggzachary what you mean about hunting without the faithful hound to sniff them out,it just dont feel right anymore. enjoy your venison and give the expectant Mum a pat,her time on the hill soon will come as a break from the pups and she will enjoy it all the more.

Cheers everyone. Sako sure was jealous when I got home and she could smell deer all over the gear. She’s been getting her fair share of venison goodies to feed the pups.
