Check out this bit of awesome from the other side of the debate.

Apparently everyone is in danger because licensed gun owners can own more than one firearm and unlicensed people are allowed to shoot under supervision at gun clubs.
Another interesting note is that all the guns destroyed in the great australian gun buy back have since been replaced by new firearms thereby bringing the total number to what it was before Howard did his thing.
It's amost like the achieve nothing positive.
Feel bad for our Ausbros, sure are shackled with some ridiculous bullshit.
The gun lobby what us to have to complete a new police check for any firearm we purchase even after being deemed a fit and proper person
Still don't understand why they didn't have an inquest. They missed a vital opportunity to evaluate emergency response times, training effectiveness etc. Its just not the same if the powers that be can hide some of the facts that might blemish themselves. Easier to assume gun owner persecution will equal public safety.
Just see there's been a shooting in Sidney guess there gun laws not working ah!
Firearms do not shoot people...

...le beau et le bon, cela rime avec Breton!...
Right on Eeebees. I need to introduce you to my bunny loving, tree hugging, trendy lefty father in law. He reckons firearms are an evil to be purged from society........ I take great delight in greeting him at the door with shotgun in hand and having a mass cleaning whenever he comes.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Looks like the guy shot in Sydney was retaliation for someone shot 2 weeks ago. Tighter gun laws are sure to fix the problem!
Its interesting that they make a big deal of this when that same weekend 9 people died on the roads in australia and they didnt go hard out banning cars
Absolutely agree. Does nothing but create a large circle jerk.
