Weekend mission with good mates - Ruahine Tops

Evening everyone. Me and a few good mates spent the weekend doing a trip into the Ruahine tops. Here’s the video I have put together for my youtube channel. Hope you enjoy 👍🏻

A very realistic take on what an average hunt is like, I can relate to the hunt on day 3 as I have experienced many a trip with weather like that around the Doc land down our way hunting the tops. It can be a very cruel hard land to hunt and you need balls to come away with meat from some of those areas.
It was a great video and I like the way you post videos even if you didn't get anything as everybody can relate to it as we all know you have a lot of trips out without getting an animal but when you do get one if makes all the hard work seem worth while and you appreciate the venison a lot more.

    Awesome stuff

Cheers for posting that mate, great spot that have spent lots of time up there.
That walk in is a killer, no need to get up to early up there the animals are out all day unless it's to hot, hunting south of biv always seems more productive than to the north in my experience.

Another great vid SS. Really shows the essence of why we hunt even if no meat is taken home. That biv looked a bit cosy for 4 guys though.
