Cheers fellas. Was an enjoyable couple of days.
Chamois? 1200-1400 metres. South facing bluff systems.
The majority of my hunting, like 80% + is on DOC country. The chamois and fallow bucks were both shot on DOC land. We only accessed the DOC through a mates place for the fallow.
Just got back from and overnighter on DoC land with Malhunting. Saw 8 deer and 8 chamois. All within a couple hours walk from the truck. You've just got to know where to find them and it takes time scoping these spots out to learn that.
Adam gave me a few boxes of Speights for the trouble, I was happy with that![]()
