    Winter Pigs

I've noticed there's a lull in the number of reports lately, so I thought I'd better post one. Well a video really.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dajPEhT8ABE

I've been leaving the deer alone for the last couple of months and focussing on the pigs. There's a few around of varying sizes, I've managed to shot a few and I've been tormented by another - I call him the bullet proof pig!

I hope everyone else is getting out, between the rain showers, too.

Good one - real waxy Boar
    What region are you in
Pig population is low throughout the Sounds I heard the other day
I thought it was just my area and was patting myself on the back for a rigorous campaign on them over late Spring 017 till later Summer 018

The bigger one, shot through the Tawhini was 390 yards, I actually hit him a bit low and he need a finisher. The little one, shot in the eye, was spot lighted and you tend to focus on the eye!

These pigs were all taken in the Hutt Valley, they seem to turn up in the colder wetter months.

Nah that was a bit of stick. I hit it quite low in the shoulder. It went about thirty yards and required a finisher. I forgot to add the footage of the ‘Bullet Proof Pig’.
