    the tail makes an oxtail stew to beat all
    the steaks are fine,but bland.... season well and they great
    its a very lean dark meat.
    worms are in the gut bag...dont gut shoot and you wont see them LOL.
    we did try a roast and found it like lean lamb,just darker.

    HC and I thort we d try one to eat.Its belly was moving,wtf cut it open,its guts was full of worm.Young roo at that.

    yip its hard work trying to push them out to shoot them when they tucked up warm....hopefully the snow has receded a bit by now.

    Well done Tahr.
    We were down that way ourselves last week; shot a few Wallaby and some Fallow. Tracks gettin pretty greasy so got the chains out to get around but always good fun, and pretty easy hunting .

    We were doing the gully heads and higher country for a contractor where they don't get to so much with the NV.

    Legs are good roasted in an oven bag, make a nice gravy, roast some veggies of choice and Robert is your fathers brother.
