    03 Vitara

So I've just got myself an 03 Grand Vitara, 2.7 V6 manual. Seems pretty tight.

My question is, mechanically, anything to watch out for?

Pedestrians, and both types of cycles.

Mates one got parked in the dairy paddock, damn cows destroyed it. Pulled the wing mirrors and wipers off, stripped the rubbers off everything, destroyed the wipers, basically worse than a flock of kea. So can't recommend that.

Prior to that it went well, but suffered from air flow sensor and ECU issues - we swapped out an engine in it due to the cam chain issue and general engine wear and tear and then had to replace the loom, ECU and air flow sensor. Don't recall exactly what the final reason was but it was not a common fault.

I target cyclists. (The Lycra ones not the leather ones) I suppose that qualifies as watching out for them!

Ok, that's not a repair I'd do myself.
