Hi guys. I am seriously considering making what is a big investment for me, in a 2007 Highlander. I currently run a 1995 HiAce LWB 4wd with manual hi low ratio trans and it has been a great vehicle, rugged and very reliable, but I want something a bit easier to drive on longer expeditions.
I am unsure how an auto transmission will control speed crawling downhill steep and rough.
Unsure about maintenance and servicing costs compared to HiAce.
Off rod handling in general.
How can you start if battery flat in an isolated place?
Any other hidden quirks or faults or good stuff?
Any comments or advise will be appreciated thanks.
