    4 poster hoist

    Looking for one for a new shed build.
    Don't want to spend a gazillion for one.
    Single phase preferred but can convert a 3 phase if the price is right.

    Thoughts and experience appreciated!

    Anyone got a heads up on a supplier or one for sale!?

    Will list in the WTB as well!

    Cheers

    Not sure if you use one for work but I wouldn’t touch a s/h one, up and down 50-100 times a day only reason they get sold would be it’s worn out and not worth repairs
    And when there is 3+ ton above ya head
    Do you need 4? There’s lots of 2s at good rates theses days

    @longrange308 thanks,

    Domestic use only. Will be used for maintenance, storage and as a lift to access motorbikes stored above in the attic.

    @Fireflite What about a two then for long term use acro props(?) or posts / frame in a similar way that you use a jack to lift a car, but use axle stands when going under it?

    do you need a hoist certified in your own shed ?
    or because its just you under there , not an employee as such is it ok ?
