Thread: 4wd or 4x4 mechanic in auckland

Looking at buying a '96-01 Prado or Surf up in Auckland and want someone who knows what they're doing check it out.

Anyone know or recommend someone? Fine it if's up north, down south or out west.

Had a look at a '98 Surf in Wellington. Was all go, drove great, good kms. Had it looked at by a mate's mechanic who was an ex-toyota mech. the second thing he checked was the turbo which was apparently about to give up and would've been $3-5k to fix.
