Someone on the 4wd forum posted this link, and I thought it would be good to post here as well.
So if anyone is considering replacing the shocks in their truck soon - read on...... ;)

No munro ? Are they not worthy ? Or just not sold in Au ?
Would have been good to have compared the aftermarket shocks with the new factory set up. Also there was no ironman shocks.
Why don't the new utes have the 50 mm lift kit as standard? They would be a whole lot better that way
The 50mm lift kit gives good clearance but still allows the truck to handle well. Without a lift kit, the Ute is more like a scraper/bulldozer especially up the riverbed.
so which ones are you reccomending for my old surf them cambo?
I have found personally Munroe have always only ever been ok for shopping trolleys. Their valving is all wrong for offroad and the shocks blow out very quickly.
ARB have been good.
EFS have a good name as well.
I know of a few that are using Ironman and they are happy enough.
Sorry two crash this thread, are these any good?

Yeah I think that Tough Dog brand did pretty well in that test. They got best overall.
KJ I'm excused, sheep shaggers my arse
Awesome thanks Cambo! I'm looking at replacing the OME shocks in the Landcruiser. They've done over 200K now, around Aussie twice before ending up in my hands. This will be interesting reading.
