That’s the first I’ve heard about Isuzu servicing being cheap compared to Toyota.

My 2017 Hilux cost me $1300 for ‘big’ services via dealer in Tauranga before I shifted south. Local Isuzu franchisee quoted me $900 for ‘big’ Isuzu service. Once out of wty, I’ll do the MU- myself

You were paying about 7 hundred + to much thats not a toyota issue that's a garage issue
Yeah .... had a couple of 2014 D-Max's. Used to get ~ $1400 service invoices back then for each 40,000 km service......
Had a late 2013 D-Max which had a $900 40K service bill. After that I did my own servicing and changed the oil every 10k. Never had the slightest issue with that ute over the next 10 years (150+ kms). Good solid, reliable ute.
