Angry 50 mm suspension lift certification

I have 3 Hilux's that we use off road every day and all carry quite a bit of equipment. Two of the trucks have old man emu lift kits and the 3rd has an ironman kit.
They are all around 50mm lift and have heavier duty suspension components.
The factory suspension was not up to the task.
Upon taking my truck in to the local Toyota dealer to get a wof, i was told they will no longer issue a wof for any of these trucks due to changing the suspension kits even though they are only 50mm.
Apparently you have to get them certified or they are not warrantable.

Anyone else had problems with this?
Save our Tahr. They belong in the southern alps.

From the VIRM: Steering and suspension systems - NZTA Vehicle Portal

"Blocks for leaf springs to adjust their ride height (up or down)

the suspension has not been raised by any other means, and
    the blocks are:
    – securely fitted, and

    – constructed from metal, and

    – designed for the purpose, and

    – firmly seated over not less than the OE seat area, and

not more than 50mm in height."

You're all good. Tell 'em the next wof can be free for not checking the VIRM and you having to correct them eh

Well i had an unpleasant discussion with three blokes from the toyota dealership all telling me none of my hilux's will now be warrant able due to these suspension upgrades.
The conversation did not end well and will be reviewing other options for sales and servicing of 5 vehicles.

Talk to nzta. There's a complaints process that they take pretty seriously.

Go for it. If they're misinterpreting the WoF regs in this instance it's reasonable to question if they're misinterpreting the regs elsewhere ............

My understanding is that adjustables always need to be certed.

I've come across quite a few that are adjustable from factory in various ways.

Im pretty sure that with coil springs spacers under (or ontop) of the springs are a no go, also if it is not a straight bolt in kit that uses the factory shock mounts etc it should have a cert. I know some kits have a bracket to relocate the top shock mount point, these would require cert
