    69 F-100

Just probing the possibility some members here may have, or know someone with a 68-73 F series truck or bronco sitting in a paddock or lurking behind the shed, I’m always after parts big and small, swap meets are starting to dry up for late sixty’s light commercials.

Things I’m really after is a bed to recycle the floor out off to put patches in mine and and some seats or a bench that is serviceable

Don’t suppose there is any other F series blokes on here who daily them?

I’ve a ‘65 LWB but I’m in no rush to part with it at the moment - plus it’s too good to be used for a parts truck!

    Oh, and it’s used regularly.

Theres a pickup for sale in Hamilton, looks similar to the one pictured. Though it looks to be a tidy runner.

If you have a cheap 20t press you can easily make a form tool and produce your own patches for the tray - chances are the donor will have the same rot problems as they are all the same age. Virgin metal is a easier option I would have thought?
    40mm and Finnwolf like this.

Somewhat could be, but it will probably end up being just as expensive as importing a panel from aus

Mines an unrestored desert dweller so I don’t suffer the rust issues most of them do, the only hole it has is about the size of a toothpaste tube in the tray by the headboard where the toolbox used to sit and water has sat in a dent and eaten through. I’d probably just want the front 400mm plated for a bit of future proofing

Although it is super handy, can just sweep and bits and bobs out the hole at the front,
Makes a great water drain as well seems ford never thought about that one.
