    As the other two posts said......end result is that it clogs and makes your fuel economy worse than without it...anyway I took mine totally off. Worked a treat and really gave it more life in the acceleration department as well as improved my fuel bill, as in it lowered it.
    Good trucks and fairly easy to work on.
