    Alloy boat repair

    Holed my boat yesterday on a rock while hunting . Any one alloy weld in canterbury ?

    7 deer seen 4 stags up close but nothing worth shooting . Biggest we seen was an 8 . Stags where only moaning . Hard to tell but probably have been a bit late . Only manage one day on the tops as weather was foggy and rainy but still as . Rest of time was bush hunting

    Throw a couple of tubes of "Selleys Knead It, Epoxy Putty" in the boat, just in case for next time

    Mikee to be totally honest , it was not poor navigation, it was not poor mooring ! . I'm kicking myself . Didn't pull boat up far enough lake edge and didn't pay attention too a rock about a meter away . Weather changed for the worse , waves moved the boat onto the rock and boat sunk ! . Was lucky I had a winch in the boat to pull her out . It was put in there in the first place to pull it up the beach to avoid this type of incident . Too much haste not enough thought
