Mikee to be totally honest , it was not poor navigation, it was not poor mooring ! . I'm kicking myself . Didn't pull boat up far enough lake edge and didn't pay attention too a rock about a meter away . Weather changed for the worse , waves moved the boat onto the rock and boat sunk ! . Was lucky I had a winch in the boat to pull her out . It was put in there in the first place to pull it up the beach to avoid this type of incident . Too much haste not enough thought
As long as only feeling's got bent then its called experience (also character building). Boats can be fixed. To be fair I would not sleep if my boat was moored somewhere. Up the bay we anchor Bow out and have a stern anchor(s) but still don't sleep good
