Nice....I was looking at a much newer K series today (Not to buy...just looking at it...) and I noticed that they have the inclined transverse 4 rather than the head out the side like you have there....I always liked the older style stuff and nearly bought an ex MOT boxer (R80?) one back in the 90s when they dumped them.....Quote:

Hope you have invested in some quality knee braces: Several years ago I whiskey throttled into some pines that had been rudimentary trimmed for a well attended dirt bike ride. Had a few choice words to say to the organiser, like either leave the trees alone, or trim them back to the main stem, NOTHING in between. Anywho, said to myself in the micro seconds before impact "this is gonna hurt". Broke one of my carbon fibre knee braces but bugger me, it did the job. Nothing more than a couple of days hobbling, compared to thinking I was gonna be stretchered out of the forest.
Yup, I went to one about 20 years ago in Northland and the guy was impaled about 30sec ahead of me in a tree, dead, had to be pulled down.
