Bit of fun out at woodhill

My brother and I took my Hilux and our Zuki out to Woodhill yesterday. It was a good day (aside from my new GoPro camera shitting itself ).

I got stuck a couple of times and had to get dragged out by the Suzuki, but that Suzuki did damn well for a little shitter with road tyres. It was climbing some of the hills guys with expensive tricked up Patrols and Surfs (my nearly factory one included) couldn't.

My dad cleaned out the carbie on the Suzuki and re-tuned it (the timing was way out) so it had way more grunt that it used to.

The first bit is driving just the easy tracks, then a bit of playing in the mud, then a couple of hill climbs.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Funny you say that, I clipped a tree last time in the hilux. Some of the gaps can be a little small.

Yeah you just rock up and pay $55 then spend the whole day driving around. There's lots of tracks of various difficulties all over the place. There are big main loops you go around with little trial tracks off the side.

They also have the 4x4 clubs on patrol so if you get stuck you can get pulled out.

If you haven't been, go have a go.

Yep that would be fun. Couldn't take my town toy in there but let me know the next time you go and I will happily jump on as a passenger.

I have had far worse roles in my lifetime I am sure? I seemed to pull dunny digger on exercise a fair bit when wearing green.

That's sounding like a plan. I'll open another thread tonight and try to organise something. See if we can spark up some interest.
