    Bonnet protection

What is everyone using for bonnet protection while shooting off it? It's primairly my hunting ute but dont want to damage the bonnet as it's in good condition. Dont want to go down the "cover it in carpet" as want it to look normal when I am not shooting.

Folded towel, jacket anything to hand really.

Thought you might have been asking about hat boxes when I saw the title.

Rubber mat that's clean, silicone cooking mat kept clean, anything really. Don't usually shoot over a bonnet, find animals don't like the vehicles much?

Yoga mats are great for non-slip and some have a woven core, those are tough as old boots
