And if your rego runs out in March for example and you had the vehicle off the road until September and you go to rego it then?

You won’t have to ‘back date’ the rego until March, it just starts again from September.

Unlike with a ‘modern’ vehicle where the rego would have to go back to March. (Unless you had put the rego on ‘hood’)
