Duals do indeed give you more traction, and lots more side slope stability. BUT they can be a right pain in the arse driving standard 4x4 or sidexside tracks, as you are now driving a vehicle wider than the wheels of all other vehicles that made the tracks. Consequently the ride can be bumpier, and you can get hung up on banks/shrubs that standard vehicles don't.
I've got duals for my 4x4, and they do amazing things in the right terrain. But they take 30 min to fit![]()
