    4wd's know how to suck gas extremely well

    My hair dresser car uses 7.6 litres per 100kms average, my Hilux is currently around 9 with winter defrost cycles the Monaro would go around 12 average around town, the 4wds go about twice that...

    You are not driving the hairdresser car hard enough it should use twice that.
