Yes I have the manual and am aware of the grade. Was just trying to match exact oil the Toyota NZ use with their servicing to keep it running the same oil. I always do the filters with oil changes.

I have never heard of any engine complaining about different brands of oils. viscosity sure but I whack whatever is on special with the right viscosity.

I just tend to stick with castrol. we only run toyotas so just stick with what they use.

Got told by an old school mechanic once 'find a good oil and stick with it boy, you'll be right'. His advice hasn't put me wrong yet
