    Decent 4wd for cheap?

Looking for a cheap 4wd to access hunting spots. Nothing too serious but a bit of offroading and to get around the city.

Any ideas what too look for for around 5k?
    Cheers

I've got a '94 swb vitara with 2" lift and mud tyres that I'd part with for $3500

Bighorn or Pajero in diesel, For something a bit more 4wdable look at the older (slower) 2.4 prados or a Hilux.(May incur Toyota tax in the pricing)
Vitara or escudo are ok if you want something a bit smaller.

Vitara if you want small and petrol. Easy to work on. Cheapish to run.
I've got a 5door one sitting in the driveway that I may be keen on selling.

    Earlier Vitara/Escudo w/transfer case.
    Bighorn/early Mitsussantoy.
    Early Ssangyong/Kia/Hyundai/Daihatsu.
All under $5K but probably a case of looking for a needle in a haystack.
One of our forum members had a 2 door SWB Paj 3L - needed rego/WOF as only farm reg'd.
IIRC about $2.5K - might be worth a troll through 'Buy, Sell, Swap' to locate it.
    Cheers
