The drawer is full width under the dog crate, and the back door holds it closed.

I used wooden runners, and rub candle wax on them occasionally.

Usually pheasants are carried inside, NOT on the spare tyre.

I made my own for my surf.
Nylon slides underneath. 16mm ply. Heavy duty.
    finished. carpet top

    handles to life drawers out.

drop in table for making food.

bolt on rears to make double bed.

    access panel

    sliders

on bottom of drawers - run in between sliders on base of frame. So no sideways movement

locking into D points in floor between drawers and rear seats with turn buckles

New prado has MCC roller drawers. Heavier. Roll well, loads of space and very functional. Miss my ply ones.
Couldn't make them this time, as things have changed at work, can't do foreigners at work under new H&S rules

Had nice intentions to put drawers in the back of the 80. Was thinking along the lines of nylon slides etc too. But it never happened. It's far to easy to just put plastic containers in it. Mines made of 12 and 16mm ply. Don't think it's even structural ply cause I'm a jew.

I'll try and get a updated picture cause it's always a work in progress. Fair to say I could still put drawers in if I decide to thou.
