    When the drawers are full, they won't slide all the way out. if you make them tall enough, as they are pulled out they will tilt, so the remainder will rise and stop against the top surface.

    See my slides above. You can make them from strips of nylon, from a cutting board/butchers board. I went to a plastics company and for 12 beers, got them cut. Drilled them myself.
    Put a spring loaded gate bolt inside at the rear of the drawer, pointing up, screw a stop on the underside of the top surface.
    This is the same way DRIFTA in Oz make their drawers slide.
