It looks like the battery is “cooked”. It won’t come up to charge on the correct charger

I see online prices of $750 for a replacement carrier type battery pack (it’s uses 40x #18650s apparently!) so am keen to recover this battery if at all possible!

    Any suggestions from the forum?

I have thought about throwing the battery pack into the freezer for a couple of days ..... or are we even beyond that???

And yes. The vigorous discussions regarding taking care which charger to use have been had.....
If all else fails, you could try the Green-Hub, PN,Manawatu, they were building battery-packs for E-bikes out of dead power-tool batterys> The guy running the research at Massey-Uni. on super-solar-panels. set up electric bike production. A complete bike was $450 until the retailers of crap Chinese ones complained and they raised them near 1k. I will try and contact them if you have no luck
