    From memory these hulls are made by Kingfisher Boats under contract. Kingfisher (AKA Alloy Cats NZ @ The Mount) build quality stuff.

    Correct I used to build these at kingfisher and they are a great design and use quality aluminium.

    Marine grade for the hull obviously and extrusion for rub rails , . All nz aluminium. They are not made there anymore. Made in Hamilton now.

    There are many grades of "marine" 5052 5083 5086 5251 etc

    Yes and there is very significant differences in both strength and corrosion resistance between the grades, boat manufactures should state what grades are used on their websites so buyers can make informed decisions IMO
