    Ford Ranger Headlight Upgrade

I have a 2018 Ford Ranger that I'm looking at upgrading my (yellow light) headlight bulbs to LED (white light).

What do those in the know or have done it recommend? I see the brand "Calibre" features alot when browsing. Are they any good?
    Thanks in advance.

Stedi in Australia do top tier headlight conversion kits

Very accurate beam that doesn’t annoy others on low beam

Personally, I think those white lights are inconsiderate of others on the road.
The yellow light is sweet as for legal speeds, and even if you need highbeam, the plethora of reflective signs around the place soon make anything above low beam a pain in the arse too.

My voe is keep the stock headlights and buy ammo instead!

most drop in led lamps will not pass a wof as the light source is not as centralised in the bulb as a filament so more scattered light

I put a set of the Calibre brand ones in my 2012 BT -50. They're a good upgrade from the shitty factory bulbs without going LED

I think this will be what I do since LED"s will cause wof issues.

Hahaha, this old "chestnut" again, many on here will know my hatred for 2016 onward model Ranger head lamps, while their auto dipping worked awesome the whole head light design is absolute shit ( must of been the useless cunt that designed em's first day on the job ) not only are they gutless but their whole beam is terrible - short & very narrow.

There are upgrade kits available that say a 50% increase, but 50% of shit will still be shit & are over $400, a basic bulb upgrade will help a little & as others have said, it didn't come factory with LED's so won't get a WOF if you put those in, if you're doing lots of night driving I'd put on a set of decent spot lights.

2012-2015 PX2 were the pick of the litter, I'm told the new version is a little better though.

Were they not the same lights in all the px models ? I was of the understanding they were all the same.

A box of matches is far cheaper, and i reckon would make for a very fine ranger indeed.

Like others have said if you fit an LED upgrade kit you’ll have to swap them out every time you go for a WOF. You could try and get better bulbs and if doing lots of night driving then getting some spotties and wiring them on a switch independent of the headlights circuit so you can still get a WOF.
