Thread: Ford Ranger Raptor - anyone else thinking a 2L diesel is a bad idea

Engineering has improved over the last 10 -15 years higher compression rates and boost pressures can make up for lack of cubic inches, as cosworths and escorts proved 20 plus years ago. The downside is the motor is running under greater stress, not really an issue if its designed for it i think.
