Is that a Gull site @Macca?
Gull send out a text when they do a daily special of 10 or 12 cents off - both sites over my way are card payment only

Don't know what it is in Hanmer at the moment, I rarely buy diesel here but usually at least 30-40c more expensive than Amberley or Chch

I can't say i have noticed any differences in performance or economy but then I mostly use npd anyway.

Generally get around 7lper 100 on open rd if I keep my foot out of it and up to 10-12l per 100 towing the boat and hills etc.

Is it possible your vehicle did a dpf burn on one leg of your trip skewing your results?
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

A couple of truckies I've talked with previously have both said that fuel economy is worse when filling with NPD. One drives long haul, the other local delivery. On the other hand, Heagney Transport in Blenheim have their own NPD pod so I guess they're happy with it.
