    Haast Pass construction

For those with an interest in getting in and out of the wild West Coast, this YT channel has some real gems that describe the construction of the Haast pass road. 1958 to 1965. And not a pair of earmuffs or a road cone to be seen

Half a dozen good videos are there covering the construction. Good for a rainy day avo in front of the goggle box
