Thread: helicopter operators top of the south

After recommendation for helicopter operators for top of the south island.
Basically a line from Murchison across to Hanmer Springs to Kaikoura and above. Needle in a hay stack
After my first trip to south Island this year we have decided to come back down next year. After a surreal trip further down the island and a great trip had by all chasing Thar we have decided to stay up the top this time and see if we can catch up with a Chamois and other. Also trying to cut back on the extra day driving.
We are wanting to fly again and just after a few names of good operators that have local knowledge and you have had a good experience with them.
Big area i know but looks like its fallen on my shoulders again to organize and after talking to a few operators i can narrow down a area and start planning again

Upper Wairau Valley about 45 mins from Blenheim

Willy Sage will only be flying to the end of november and after this there want be a helicopter based at Wairau. He is selling up and moving
