Yep, that'd be an E30 3 series, one of my favs Love the klutz in the Honda towards the end, manages to get keep it out of the dirt and then twats into a tree further down the road.

Mega cringe material there. We all know what's going to happen, but at least the poor drivers didn't, .... entirely.

Not quite as good as in the Targa rally.
Just outside of Marton a cop who decided to show his skills on a closed road cam down the straight and there is a tight left hand down hill bend onto a one way bridge.

Well he was going way to fast and I called the crash before he even started braking and he comes down and straight off the end of the road through a fence and into a ditch, Was still doing at least 80kph when he hit.

Me and my mate where 1st down there way before the useless marshalls who where more worried about getting us away because the car was going to explode then cheeking the cop.
We both have good training in 1st aid etc and have volunteered at Manfield for at least 4 years doing crash rescue.

Cop-car was fucked. front of chassis was pushed up, sills where both split, radiator was pushed back around the motor bonnet was bent and poped up.
Cop had broken collar bone I think.

Been a Hell last 3 weeks at work today was worst boss just rang me and got a bloody serve !

Pace notes must have been a bit out eh. Almost all turned to early for apex with no attitude on the car and on the brakes instead of throttle .

I remember seeing that on the news! From memory the story was that the organisers didn't even want the cop on the road but he was making such an arse of himself insisting on doing a 'safety check' run through that they finally let him go and make a fool of himself.

Local cop here was checking a burnout spot but nobody was around so headed in the main aerterial road of a block of forestry to do some donuts in the gravel in the cop car.
My old man pulled his car up the bank back onto the road.
