What engine? 2L, 3L, 1KZ (Surf)

2L & 3L don't have duel mass flywheel.

Crack off each injector in turn to isolate a problem cylinder / bearing problem. Just make sure to use a flare nut / hydraulic spanner not an open end 17mm!

iv done a dual mass flywheels on 2 jap import 3L in the last couple of months , nz new ones dont have them tho

should be able to feel the bell housing and feel roughness through the alloy
try the injector trick,mite be an injector but bearings noise dont go away with a diesel, can only move so far before it kisses the head
