    Hilux tailgate.

    Hi guys.
    I have just bought a 2005 hilux sr5.
It wasn’t until later I noticed that the tail gate doesn’t lock.
Is it possible to get one installed?
My 2005 rodeo could be locked, so it was handy with the decoys in the back.
    What do ya reckon?

With my L200 I put a couple of gate locks on the inside of the tail gate then just locked the cabin. Works ok.

Unless you have a hard lid or a canopy (which have locks), how is a lock on the tailgate going to secure the open deck?

Hmm, thought I had hit reply.
I do have a canopy. But if you yank the gate the canopy wont hold it.
My 2005 Rodeo was pretty secure. As the gate could be locked.
Just a pain leaving my duckshooting gear in it if its not that secure. But I guess nothing will stop them breaking in.
