    unless your 100% sure the tank has no lingering fumes welding brazing and gas fired soldering is out. leaves you with traditional soldering with an iron (not a piddly arse sparkys one but one a radiator guy would use). use 60/40 lead . handy hint chalk the repair all up after and fill with water , look for any wet spots last thing you want is for fuel to push out your fresh paint
