Interesting to hear about the battery maintenance as my wife currently has a CX5 2.5 AWD and we’d thought about going to a new hybrid for her next upgrade. Good food for thought.

The service manager I deal with told me the Rav 4 is the start point for hybrid beginning to make sense; using the battery in town environments makes a much bigger difference proportionally to the heavier / bigger vehicle than it does to the smaller vehicles that are efficient on petrol only. He tells me the model that sees the biggest improvement is the Highlander Hybrid, followed by the Camry.
