You're all hilarious. It's a diesel (BMW M57 I6), and naturally, all-terrain tyres will be my next major purchase. I'm fortunate enough to know a Land Rover owner mechanic through work, and as he helped advise on this purchase, I think it's only fair that anything going wrong gets dumped in his lap

I'm really loving it so far. Aside from the big Sprinters I drive at work, this is about the only vehicle I've driven where I don't feel at all crammed in, and certainly the only 4WD where I've felt as comfortable. My dad's Ford Territory comes close, but I've got a longer back than him, so I end up a little too close to the roof to see out of the windscreen optimally.
