    I want one

I've spent a lot of time thinking (while my body screams) about a better way to get deer off the hill. Parapunting, a big weather balloon and a small bottle of helium, all sorts of fanciful stuff.

    Stand by for the future.

Could of at least dropped it at the door so they didn't need to carry it up the concrete driveway

Pretty impressive machine. Fit it with a net gun and send it off to fetch you a live deer off the hill

Get yourself a chopper Ross. Fly in, fly out. In fact mount it up as a gunship with helmet o mounted optics and pilot controlled grabber and then it could be fly in, shoot deer, grab deer and fly out. Home in time for dinner mate.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Leave it set up on the roof of your truck.
Wake it up remotely when you need it and it comes to you.
Send it back to drop it on the deck of your truck and wait for you to walk out

Looks to have a 30 to 40 kg payload depending on batteries and range required

$20 to 35k US so quite spendy

Lol yeah you could buy a low of meat for that kind of money. If you could make it pay its' own way somehow. I think I've seen them spraying antimould stuff on a roof and they have been used for spot spraying weeds for a while I think. The payload is where the dollars are.
I like the sound of having it to come and pick up the deer and return to the ute. maybe to stop people thieving it while it's set up on ya ute roof is a motion sensor to an audio warning. Another trigger and it lifts off to 5m and sprays some sort of shit juice on them

There was one parked over the road recently that had a 40l container for spraying - it can't be that far away for 100kg+ lifts to be available.

I'm just going to mount a kids swing seat on mine and fly myself around.
    Overkill is still dead.

There was an absorbing article in the NYT on the Ukraines having lines of toy drones being modified for battle. Unreal to read the operator zooms in on a Russian soldier looking up in fright then running for cover as the drone dumps an explosive package on him. The new battle field.*
