The Tauranga City Council have got an email from me requesting any CCTV footage from that street at that time. We’ll see if I get anything other than the default response I’ve already had.

I’ve also done a request to the Transport Agency requesting some way of contacting the couple in the SUV to ask very nicely if I can get the dash cam footage.

Over and above these two actions I’m probably not going to bother doing anything else as it just winds me up. And also as my wife said it might be a good time to consider The Law of Unintended Consequences. I have no idea who those guys in the Nissan were but even from a good distance away it would be easy to use what I saw to form a stereotype image in my mind. I’m not going to get into that obviously but there is always the chance that those guys are the kind of fellas that I don’t really want to have anything to do with. I strongly suspect that’s why the old lady was so scared.

Fair call. Sounds like your across it all. Agree if the Nissan driver was the type I assume you are meaning, then the likelihood is you won't want to interact with them. Just shitty for you to wear the cost on top of the inconvenience and frustration. Bloody shame that people have to act like cocks when being polite costs nothing.
