Piles of shit owned two. One locked me out at the rubbish dump one day! In hindsight we should have pushed it into the pit. Second one computer probs fixed it and it immediately shit the gearbox aaarrrgggghhheeedd

That's why they are called discoverys, you always are.

Mum and dad had one when I was a kid, broke down alot and cost alot to fix.

yep they aren't even good enough to be classed as a piece of shit they are in a league of their own

I am a mechanic, these thing keep me employed, just don't buy one.

Sounds about right, drove a V8 Range Rover once and told the owner afterwards that I'd renamed it the Queen Mary.

Rumbled along nicely on the straights, but 5 minutes before each corner you had to start braking and send a message to the front wheels by pigeon post that you might want to start turning soon please.

Cheaper alternative - Dig hole, thrown money in it.

the ones with sun roofs are good,park them on your front lawn and throw all your rubbish in them, when full drive to the dump and leave them there.

I had an early one which was basically range rover, lifted 4 inches fitted 35s and a diff lock great articulation.....id prefer toyota if I did it again
