    Land Rover Freelander Alternator wanted

    Hey guys,

    I own a 2001 Freelander with the TD4 engine, haha yes I did admit that I own one, maybe I should have said I am enquiring for a friend.... Anyway the alternator has packed up and I have been quoted $515 to rebuild or $642 for a new one. You maybe thinking that these prices are nearly what the vehicle is worth so this is why I thought I would try my luck and find something second hand.

    Does anyone know where one could be, or anywhere worth trying?
