Haha ... they are actually very good off rd

I'd take any one of my series landrovers far more places than other standard trucks.

Iv also had far less problems than some of my hiluxes and landcruisers... Go figure...

It all seems to come down to lack of maintenance and abuse that determines parts failure.

The Discovery was a gamble but pretty rare in manual with the 300tdi - it also has really surprised me off rd.

Also at 6 foot 4 inches tall is one of the most comfortable trucks Iv been in ... I had to put the seat forward a bit...

Dunedin to Picton on Saturday in one stretch very impressive

The biggest headaches I've had with my Discovery was trying to fix other peoples "improvements", instead of buying a $10 part the previous owner decided to run his own wires here, there and everywhere, and he was certainly no autosparky!

Failing to fix mechanical, electrical and water tightness issues before the become headached is what seems to kill most vehicles.

Arsehole that little pod filter off of the rockercover and plumbback into the intake if you intend going deep enough to need a snorkle.
    Mathias and ROKTOY like this.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

308Win One chambering to rule them all.

Yip It has gone since then, goes to the catch can on the water pump and back to the inlet, there is another (factory installed) one on the back of the other rocker cover that is now plumbed to the intake as well
