    Landcruiser Repair manuals???

]Can anyone tell me where i can find a repair manual for a 1995 EX (or SX) LJ78 landcruiser Prado with a 1KZTE engine.

I have tried trademe , fishpond , ebay , Hanes manuals and google and cant find anything.

Someone had them on trademe about a year or two back but is not on there anymore.

Most of the stuff on that list as easy to do at home, the killer is the injector pump! If the fault is the pump itself, you will be able to remove and refit but the overhaul will need to be done at a diesel shop. Cost will be $1000 - $1500.

You should be able to get a genuine workshop manual from Toyota. You will pay a bit more for them but they piss all over the shitty after market manual.

Please put a genuine head on it and get the gasket set from Toyota as well. They have a graded head gasket (thickness) dependant on piston bumper height (piston protrusion) so make sure you get the correct one.

With all that work to be done to the engine, pull it out and chuck it on a stand - $140.00 from BNT
It will save you time in the long run, you will get sick of being bent over the guards standing on your head!

Still want to do it yourself??

    PM me with any questions
