I'm sure they'll sort the rules soon enough to allow front bar mounting, the aussies have in most states and it sounds like we usually follow their lead on a lot of regs like that.

That would be fine. But the WOF itself is not a biggie for me as I need to be able to take them on and off as the roof rack will also be set ip to operate on my trailer.Mostly without lights but thinking about it now with lights could be handy in the future too.
