If you build revs IE 2000rpm does the lights go out and stay out untill your next off/on cycle?

Warning you the timing belt is going to need replacimg in the next few 1000kms?
Do they stay on solid or blink? Mine used to blink occassionally. I figured the alternator belt was slipping.

Normally means the brushes in your alternator are worn out. Parts about $7.00

From personal experience you have a faulty "Lamp" ours cost $4500ish to make it go out again :)
alternator brushes are the most likely culprit but make sure the battery is ok too and that battery leads are ok and not corroded including the earth lead to the chassis and the chassis to engine earthing lead.
Battery is about 12 maths,will have a look at the other ends:)Quote:
