Thread: LN106 steering issue

I went through a lot of money and time trying to get my old 1996 Lux’s steering up to scratch.
In the end it was the steering box that made the biggest improvement.
My old girl has done 360,000km and a reconditioned box was money well spent.
Got to love the old leaf sprung solid front axle luxury’s , they were the last of the real Hilux’s , it was a sad day in 1997 when the IFS rolled off the production line for the first time .
