    Losing my mind...

    Yes, yes, I know...

My offroad/farm/hunting vehicle is a 2003 Bounty - crew cab (cab plus), with a flat deck tray.

I've recently started hearing water/fluid sloshing around. It is really noticeable when I reverse, and hit the brakes. Sounds exactly like I have a big 10lt water jug half full...

    It is driving me nuts

I've had a good look to see if the fuel tank somehow came loose. Does not look like it. I've checked the fuel filler cap.

I've triple checked that there is not a water-bottle under the seats, in the cubby or anywhere in the cab.

I've checked both the front and suicide doors to see if water somehow got into them. Nope.

Like I said, more noticeable when braking in reverse, but I do hear it faintly when accelerating forward as well.

    Any idea / suggestion appreciated

Water in the bottom of either your drivers door or passengers door, normally the passengers door

Poke a knitting needle or wire up into the drainage hole as they will be blocked

sometimes they have a rubber plug

    Check again

    Especially the passengers front door

Think there’s two compartments in the bottom of it

I'll go looking for the drainage holes tomorrow and report back.

    Diesel tank full. Bladder empty

Inside the chassis frame or cross members? Pretty easy to get a bit of dirt clogging up the drain holes, not sure how water would get into them unless you took it for a swim

My money is on AC drains being blocked and water has built up in your air vents.
